Your Lie in April

I’m a huge anime fan and one of my favourite series of all time have to be Your Lie in April. This piece of art is one that I have been working at for a while as I started drawing it in December of 2022 and finished this year. It was one that I came back to when I had time and a piece which I felt like I had to come back to because I haven’t developed the skill yet to create what I wanted for this. Working at Behaviour and drawing daily I learned a lot of skills such as my lighting, working with my layers in Photoshop and developed a workfow.

Once I had the image where I wanted it, I wanted to go beyond and try animating it. Using Photoshop, I created a frame by frame animation of the female characters hair moving and in Adobe After Effects added the fireflies.
